CHEPIE LORA INTRODUCTION Hello, I'm your coach Chepie Lora I love simple living and decluttering. Over the years, I’ve helped many clients organize their homes and enjoy a calmer, more peaceful life. I’ve learned that living with less can really improve mental and emotional wellbeing, and I enjoy sharing these lessons with others who want a simpler lifestyle. I’m happily married to my wife, and we have four children who bring so much joy to our family. We also have two dogs that keep us busy. In my free time, I enjoy reading and relaxing with a cup of coffee. I truly believe that living in an organized, clutter-free space can transform your life, and I’m eager to guide others toward the peace and joy that come with simplicity. Chepie Lora

CHEPIE LORA CHAPTER I The Principles of Simple Living What is simple living? Simple living is about choosing what truly matters and letting go of what doesn’t. I first realized this when I helped a young family overwhelmed by their busy schedules and cluttered home. By focusing on essentials—time together, meaningful activities, and a calm environment—they began to notice a sense of relief and joy that had been missing. It’s a lifestyle that values peace and purpose over constant accumulation. I remember a family that was constantly distracted by screens and online media. We worked together to set limits on digital use, replacing some hours with shared meals, walks, and conversations. The change was remarkable—they became more present with each other and even reported that their children were happier and more attentive. Simple living taught them to value quality over quantity in all aspects of life. One client, a mother of three, struggled with a house full of toys, clothes, and items no longer in use. Together, we sorted through what she really needed and loved, and she donated or recycled the rest. She told me afterward that walking into her now-organized home felt like breathing fresh air—it gave her the mental clarity she didn’t know she was missing. Living simply allows people to connect more deeply with others and their communities. A retired teacher I assisted found that, after decluttering and reducing unnecessary commitments, she had more energy to volunteer at a local shelter. She said helping others gave her a sense of purpose that material things never could, and she felt more fulfilled than ever before. Simple living isn’t only about physical space; it also affects our minds and emotions. I’ve worked with people who carried the weight of too many commitments or social expectations. When they learned to say no to some obligations and focus on what mattered most, they described feeling lighter, calmer, and more in control of their lives. Through my own journey, I’ve experienced the peace and contentment that comes from simplicity. I enjoy spending quiet mornings with my family, taking care of our home, and focusing on meaningful activities rather than chasing unnecessary possessions. Sharing this approach with others has been deeply rewarding—I see how choosing less can lead to more joy, freedom, and connection in life.

CHAPTER II The Benefits of Decluttering The benefits of decluttering Decluttering brings calm, focus, and more energy by clearing out unnecessary items that create stress and distraction. It helps you work and think more clearly, spend time on what matters, and feel a greater sense of control over your space. How to get started Start Small. Pick one area—like a drawer, a shelf, or a corner of a room—and focus on decluttering that first. Small wins build momentum. Sort by Category. Create three piles: Keep, Donate/Sell, and Discard. Ask yourself whether each item truly adds value to your life. Be Honest and Intentional. Let go of things you haven’t used or appreciated in a long time. Focus on keeping what truly matters to you. Create a System. Find a dedicated place for items you keep, and establish simple habits to maintain order, like a daily 5-minute tidy-up. Celebrate Progress. Acknowledge the improvements you’ve made, no matter how small. Every step toward a clutterfree space contributes to a calmer, more focused life. CHEPIE LORA

CHEPIE LORA CHAPTER III CONTINUED Your home should be a place of order, calm, and inspiration. A home that reflects your personality and values can inspire motivation and creativity. It becomes a space you look forward to returning to after a busy day, offering comfort and a sense of safety. By filling your home with items and decor that bring you joy, you create an environment that fosters contentment and fulfillment, supporting your well-being in every aspect of life. Your space and belongings are under your control. When our homes are messy and disorganized, it often brings stress, anxiety, and a sense of overwhelm. Piles of things and unfinished tasks can make it hard to focus on what truly matters. By dedicating time to declutter and organize your space, you can create a calm, orderly environment that helps you feel more in control and at ease. Releasing what you no longer need opens the door to new opportunities. Letting go of things you no longer need can be challenging, but it’s an important step toward creating space for new opportunities. Holding onto belongings that no longer serve you can act as both a physical and emotional barrier, making it harder to move forward. By decluttering and releasing these items, you open the door to new ideas, experiences, and possibilities. As you release the past, you create a sense of openness that allows you to move forward with greater clarity and ease. This process can also involve letting go of old beliefs, habits, or relationships that no longer serve your growth, making room for new ways of thinking and living that align with your values and goals.

CHEPIE LORA CHAPTER IV Mindful and Sustainable Living How to live with less Living with less is about making intentional choices in how we consume, use, and maintain our possessions. It means focusing on what truly adds value to our lives while reducing excess that can cause stress or waste. Mindful living encourages awareness of how our actions affect the environment, our communities, and our personal well-being. To start, assess your belongings and ask whether each item serves a purpose or brings you joy. Simplifying your space not only creates calm but also reduces the resources you consume, promoting sustainability. Additionally, consider habits like buying quality over quantity, reusing items, and supporting eco-friendly products. By living with less and being mindful about consumption, you create a lifestyle that benefits both yourself and the planet. It fosters clarity, reduces waste, and allows you to focus on meaningful experiences and relationships. Over time, this approach can transform your home, your mindset, and your impact on the world. An important part of mindful living is embracing gratitude and contentment. When we appreciate what we already have and resist the urge for constant accumulation, we feel more fulfilled and less driven by consumerism. This mindset not only improves mental and emotional well-being but also strengthens our connection to the people, places, and experiences that truly matter in life.
