I used to think it was all about buildings being practical or impressive, but Barragán made me realize it can be emotional too, and I really like it . His use of color is so bold, but it never feels loud. It ’s peaceful , almost like the walls are whispering to you. What struck me most is how he talked about silence and solitude as part of design. That ’s not something I ever thought about before. As a student , everything feels loud and fast , but Barragán’s spaces invite you to slow down and just be. It ’s inspiring to think that architecture can do that . It makes me want to explore how design can affect emotions, not just f u n c t i o n . M a y b e t h a t ’ s t h e k i n d o f w o r k I w a n t t o d o s o m e d a y, s p a c e s t h a t f e e l l i k e p o e t r y. 3 noisseS
