THE LEGACY OF KAMARAJAR On 15th July 2025, our school celebrated the birthday of the great leader Kamarajar with great enthusiasm. The language department conducted a special assembly to honour his remarkable contributions to the nation. I felt proud to be a part of the event as I got the opportunity to deliver a speech about Kamarajar’s inspiring life and achievements. My friends sang a melodious song dedicated to him, and another group presented a graceful dance performance. One of my friends, Ranga Prasath Yadev, dressed up as Kamarajar, which made the celebration even more lively and memorable. Our Art Sir also amazed everyone by painting a beautiful portrait of Kamarajar during the programme. It was a day filled with learning, inspiration, and admiration for a leader who dedicated his life to the nation. Midhushprabhu V-A
Discover your Inner Strength Our school celebrated The International Yoga day with a special assembly on 20th June 2025 (Friday). The assembly was conducted for both the primary and the secondary block separately. We all were asked to bring our Yoga mat to do the asanas; and as it was Friday we all were dressed in our Sports uniform. Students and teachers gathered in the Emerald meadow for the assembly. We all were standing house wise and I was lucky enough to stand in the front row. At first we orated the mantras that were played in the speaker by sitting in Padmasana. Pugazhinthi mam (our PT teacher) and one of our senior anna named Thaarun Kumar demonstrated the asanas for us. We performed few asanas like Vrikshasana (tree pose), Tricone asana (triangle pose), Forward bend, Cobra pose, kneel down back bend, Butterfly asana, Vajrasana etc., We also did some breathing exercises called as Pranayama. We students all joined and repeated the exercises that were demonstrated. "Yoga is not just exercise; it is a way of life." The celebration was very informative and kept me energetic throughout the day. It was a fun filled and refreshing morning for all of us. After completion of the demonstration, Pugazhini mam explained us how Yoga helps us to stay healthy, calm, happy and refreshing. Our Academic director mam and our Coordinator Jothi mam also gave us their valuable inputs on how Yoga helps in concentration and relaxation. We finished our assembly with a prayer song. S. CHAPTER 1 The day everything changed began like any other .The sun hung high in a cerulean sky, it’s golden rays spilling over the lush green fields, ”Annabelle ,Annabelle” screamed her mother Melissa Vanderpool as Anna ran out the door wiping tears, she felt a strong grip on her arm, she swiftly turned to see “Ja-Jayden? She said catching her breath from running. ”are you okay Anna?” asked Jayden in a distressed tone, Anna still panting replied confused “uhm yes? I am okay Jay” Jayden sighed in relief knowing his only friend Anna was alright “wow, you really got me there” said Jayden laughing Anna laughed along but deep down she thought “Maybe I am not alright?” Anna and Jay spoke for awhile and parted ways. Anna had walked a great distance as she walked she felt a push from behind, Anna stumbled she’d instantly known who it was “ISABELLA!” screamed Anna in delight .It was Isabella Anna’s sister who was 3 years older than Anna ,she’d bumped into her as Isabella was coming back from school, that is when Anna, realized “oh shoot, it’s 4:00pm already!?”, “ha-ha of course silly mom is going to be really mad at you”. As they both walked together Anna saw a new path in curiosity she asked Isabella “Hey, I’ve never seen this path before want to check it out?” Nodded Isabella, both held hands and strolled.
a forest “what is this place? A Forest?” asked Isabella “I’m not sure I have not seen this around” replied Anna “woohoo let’s go see it then” said Isabella running into the Forest “wait no it is late already mom is gonna be livid” said Anna running behind Isabella .It was after 20 minutes of running Anna realized she’d lost track of Isabella, in panic she called out “ISABELLA, ISABELLA” but she couldn’t help but cry “ISA-bella” she tried to be optimistic and thought “haha maybe she’s just pulling my leg, she probably went home” Anna found her way out and walked back home alone, as soon as she entered her somebody gave her a bear hug, thinking it was Isabella she smiled but when she looked up she was shook to see “mom?”, “of course honey where have you been all day I was so concerned, I’m sorry I was mad at you sweetie” Anna hadn’t listen to a single word her mother had said, she just asked “where is Isabella” “Isabella? I thought she was with you” Anna ran around the house checking all the rooms for Isabella Anna lifted her head and saw it as the blood drained from her face “BREAKING NEWS the dark woods has officially been restricted for visitors, the police is on patrol, and trespassers will be prosecuted. Thank you have a great night” that’s the forest Isabella and herself went into “no, no, no Isabella is there, mom? dad?” said with a bit of hope “honey I think you need to go to bed” “what? Bed? Mom your daughter is in those woods”,”sweetie I think you should listen to your mom right now” Anna couldn’t believe her parents. Tears started flowing out her eyes, she wasn’t crying because she is sad, rather because she is angry. That night when she was in bed she couldn’t sleep and she took matters into her own hands, she slowly got out of bed as she opened the door there was a small creak, but there was no stopping her now. It was too late… To be continued... After a great while Anna gave up, she sat at the couch in front of the television and was weeping. Upon hearing her cry Mr. and Mrs. Vanderpool ran to her side and were comforting her, to lighten the mood Henry Vanderpool Anna’s father turned on the television.
