International Service Director Message

Being selected as the international service director for the Rotary year (2021-2022) was a great honor and privilege. Throughout the year, various achievements were made, events were organized, and a high level of responsibility was taken to understand and address worldwide needs. Building relationships with clubs globally through twin club agreements, letterhead exchanges, and cultural exchanges was a key role in promoting international understanding and goodwill. The support from the club members, including the President, Secretary, and Associate ISD, was instrumental in the success of the initiatives.

Achievement

The international service director was nominated in around 38 districts and received the Best Social Service Award 2021 in Pondicherry. The focus was on giving back to the world, with the belief that the best will come back in return.

Successful Attainments for the Rota-Year (2021-2022)

Key accomplishments for the year included 100 letterhead exchanges worldwide, establishing twin/sister club agreements for the first time in the history of RID-2982, organizing 5 IDYE trips, and collaborating on international projects. Publications such as bulletins and the Rotaract book emphasized the importance of friendship in holding the world together.
