Mother's Day Program 2025 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church
Annual Program Theme
The Mother's Day General Mission Ministry at Mt. Zion Baptist Church will be hosting their annual program with the theme "A Mother’s Wisdom and the Power of Her Love" based on Proverbs 4:6 NIV. The event will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 10:15 AM, featuring Dr. Daniel Simmons as the Senior Pastor and Mrs. Cynthia McMillian as the President of the General Mission Ministry. The guest speaker for the occasion will be Ms. Elaine Williams, a respected native Albanian educator and author.

About Ms. Elaine Williams
Ms. Elaine Williams, affectionately known as Ms. Elaine, has a rich educational background, having earned her B.A. Degree in English from Albany State College and her M.ED of English Education from Albany State University. She has had a successful career in education, receiving accolades such as Teacher of the Year and Star Teacher. Ms. Elaine has also published her first book, "Words Speak to Me," a collection of poems reflecting her experiences as a teacher and mother. Currently, she holds leadership roles at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
