Name of Course: PROMETE ENGLISH Group and Grade: Maternal B1 Day and Time: Monday and Wednesday 10:30 -12:00 Hours per week: 2 English Level: Pre-A1 Course Overview This is an English course aimed to MB1 students aged 25 to 30 months old. It is aligned to the guidelines and content set by the IMSS. The content of the course is mainly oriented to get students familiarized with English as a foreign language and to develop their social interaction skills, enhance their ability to verbally express names of objects, animals, and people, identify and articulate basic emotions and foster respectful communication through engaging play, interactive activities, and communitybased experiences. Students profile There are a total of 15 students in the classroom, 8 girls and 7 boys, aged 2 to 2 and a half years old. They have a level pre A1 as they are still learning to speak in their native language, and they have the background English stimulation of previous rooms. The students are playful and full of energy, they love to run, hide, hug and play. We expect the students to stimulate their skills by stimulating their brains through our activities, being excited, having fun and enjoying every moment with us; tantrums are also an expected reaction. Course Objetive By the end of this course, students who complete this course successfully will be able to develop their social interaction skills; to enhance their ability to verbally express names of objects; animals, and people; to identify and articulate basic emotions; and to foster respectful communication through engaging play, interactive activities, and community-based experiences.
