Welcome to Test Park

Today marks the first-ever fixture at Test Park as Millbrook FC welcomes US Portsmouth. Positioned 8th in the Wessex Premier League, Millbrook FC faces off against the bottom team in the division. Last week's victory against Wincanton, with standout performances by young goalkeeper Alex and veteran Callum Drake, has brought the team closer to the playoff spots, just 7 points away. Manager Dave is actively seeking to strengthen the squad as the transfer deadline approaches. Additionally, the club recently showed solidarity by donating to the Fund for injured Bashley FC player Jordan Chiedozie, showcasing the football community's support in times of need.

Since its inception in the early 1900s, Royal Navy teams have played a significant role in Hampshire football. Portsmouth Royal Navy FC (PRNFC) was established in 1962 to enhance football standards among Royal Navy players. The team transitioned to the Wessex League in 1986, experiencing a successful period in the mid-90s, including reaching the Wessex Cup semi-finals. Despite a brief relegation in 2002, the club made a strong comeback, rejoining the Wessex League in 2004 under the new moniker United Services Portsmouth FC (USPFC). Over the years, USPFC has achieved notable milestones such as reaching the FA Vase semi-final, gaining promotion to the Wessex Premier League, and securing 17th place in their inaugural season. The club's youth section has been pivotal, culminating in the women's team's promotion to the Southern Region Women’s League. With a focus on youth development and a promising new cohort of players and management, USPFC is poised for future successes.
