Principal’s Message

Dear Readers, We are at the end of the academic session 20222023. Reminiscing the months gone by, Sophians have brought laurels. While moulding today's y young generation what has been observed is that our young generations have minor incentives to pursue their passion, and hence they join the race to chase money, power, and influence. Excessive focus on academic performance as against the excellence in human values, interpersonal relationship, creativity, and innovation has created an unprecedented reality. Ron Miller, one of today's significant thinkers on holistic education, puts it succinctly, "Education today, is not a collaborative art of mentoring and nurturing the young, but a frenzied scramble to succeed according to some external measure of success. Thus, our educational endeavours have taken a direction based on a fourfold-thinking. Firstly, our students are trained to grow firmly rooted in the eternal values of love, compassion, empathy, gratitude, and care for humanity. Secondly, we are focusing on developing soft skills such as working in teams, collaboration, communication and the ability to think critically. Thirdly, global competencies including an appreciation for different cultures, respect for diversity, a global vision and global citizenship which are essential skills in today's time. Fourthly, an ability to see a problem from the human perspective and relentlessly pursuing solutions that help the social cause. In the words of Swami Vivekanand “We want education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on one's own feet". Every child studying in our institution is highly appreciated for its own individuality. We aim for education that helps a child to realize and explore his/her potentialities and hidden talents. As the motto itself says "Seek Ye Wisdom” which reflects encouragement & empowerment which helps a student to grow as a strong, reflective and humble individuals with discerning minds prepared to make a mark in all spheres of life."
